    Old or Ongoing Business

Blocks have arrived for the club bathroom, but will wait until the framing is

removed from the slab.

     New Business:

Harold and Erica Barnes talked about this year’s Outdoor Expo in Andalusia.  It is going to be bigger and better than last years.  After talking about the layout and how we could have our club booth next to the Blount’s and Rossman’s booths.  The club voted to buy two booths so we would have enough room for everyone’s honey and all the educational materials as well.  We also agreed to help OJ and Lucy man their booth along with ours.  The hours will be 3-9 on Friday, 9-6 on Saturday, and 9-5 on Sunday.  We might sell chances on a basket or two to raise additional funds to pay for the booth costs.

Henry Elmore did not show up with the nucs because there was trouble with the queens.  So you can expect them to arrive on the 13th.  We will do final planning and preparing for Kids Day as well on that day.   There is some talk that a scout troop could come this year.

There are a couple of swarms out in the bee yard so several went out to learn how to put them in a hive.  It was the first time for some to see this procedure.

Great meeting and another wonderful meal shared by all.

Present at our meeting was Lucy Blount, OJ Blount, Keith Robinson, Donna Blair, Sharon Campbell, Jason Piland, Gary Barrow, Vicky Barrow, Randy Shaffer, Dana Thrower, Don Helton, James Turk, John and Nicky Kilmer, and Dana Thrower, Jim Ledbetter, Harold and Erica Barnes, Karuna McAclister, Lawrence U. Wilder, and Davis Quintanilla with his son.
