Our president, Keith Robinson, waived the reading of Octoberís meeting which Vicky Barrow took in Donna Blairís absence and Gary Barrow brought early.  Minutes were approved.  Our trip to McKenzie High School Arts & Crafts Market, on November 10, 2012 was profitable with more interest in hives and honey.

Our work day will be December 8 at 9AM with Chili lunch.

Plow Days will be held 11-30, 12-1, 2 near Jay, FL.  We will have our Honey Store trailer set up on 12-1.

OJís son-in-law, Don Sobczak, from Knoxville, TN demonstrated the process of making Creamed Honey in Raspberry flavor, which was sampled, very tasty.

Ryan Rhodes, AL State Game Warden called about the bear known to have destroyed 1 of OJís hives earlier in the week.  Joel Martin from Solon Dixon Forestry emailed a photo of the 300 lb. Bear sited on his motion camera recently.

Keith returned thanks for the lunch served including a smoked turkey he furnished.

Cold weather prevented hive demonstration, but all went out to see the bear damage and tracks.  Those present were: Keith Robinson, Joe, OJ &Lucy Blount, Neranza & Don Sobczak, Sharon Campbell, John Kilmer, Dana Thrower, Caymond Hodge & friend, Tyler, Ozy, friends Freya & Eowyn.
